We're passionate about bringing the beauty and experience of flower farming directly to you.
A Note from Olivia:
I'd love to share how this dream began.
In 2023, God placed a desire on my heart to start a small cut-flower garden at my parents' home - just as a hobby. During the winter, while studying at UW-Platteville, I began collecting seeds. As part of my independent study in greenhouse management, I was offered some expired seed packets. The germination rate wasn't promising, but I thought, why not give it a try? And hey, free seeds!
My sweet grandma Cindy offered to start the seeds for me while I finished my spring semester (since dorm life & seed trays don't exactly mix āand my roommate wasn't keen on living in a jungle!).
When I came home for summer break, I planted the seedlings & direct sowed more into raised garden beds at my parent's house. About 6 weeks later & lots of prayer, I saw my very first blooms! I began to arrange bouquets & gifted them to family + friends ā and I'll never forget the joy on their faces. One bouquet, full of God's creation, truly has the power to brighten someone's entire day. That is why I'm so passionate!
A good friend of mine eventually encouraged me to start selling my arrangementsĀ ā so I did & the rest feels like a fairytale! I even wrote a business plan in one of my college classes for Eternal Blooms, dreaming that it could become my full-time job after graduation. But then, God opened another doorĀ ā a management position at Millhome Nursery. Now, as I plan for my third growing season, things look a little different (no longer just a few raised beds but a 1/8th acre plot at Millhome).
Thank you so much for following along on this journey. I truly believe the best is yet to come!
With love & gratitude,
Olivia
